Ukrainians has spent 2.5 billion UAH for household appliances and electronics on the past “Black Friday”

On November 19-25 of this year (“Black Friday” Week) the sales turnover of household appliances and electronics in Ukraine amounted to 2.5 billion UAH. This is reported in the study of Gfk Ukraine, reports ITC.

According to the company, this is 146% more than the figures for the week that went before it (November 12-18). Smartphones, the most popular product on the market, showed an increase of 108% compared to the previous week. At the same time, the price of a smartphone increased by 9% compared to the same period.

If we talk about laptops, its sales increased by 82%, and in physical change its almost doubled. At the same time, Gfk recorded a general slowdown in the dynamics of the market for household appliances and electronics in October-November 2018. “Even the week of “Black Friday” in conjunction with previous weeks did not align the dynamics of October-November with the average annual dynamics of the year.”

Gfk noted that the “Black Friday” week this year was a record for all the time of the weekly analysis of Point of Sales Analytics. At the same time, the company did not specify for how long this study has been conducted.
