Apartment rental app bird receives two Red Dot Awards

Ukrainian IOS application has received the Red Dot Awards in two categories: Interface & User Experience Design and Apps. The project team shared the details with AIN.UA.

bird is a freeware that allows you to search for an apartment to rent in Kyiv. The key differences are aggregation from several sources and a visually compelling 3D map.

The project kicked off in December 2018. Its creators are designer Arsenii Feshchenko and developer Yevhenii Pancheshnyi.

bird is a unique application. We tailored it specifically for apartment search in Kyiv without thinking about the international Red Dot Award. In order to increase the chances of winning, we decided to participate in two categories at once – Applications and Interfaces. It was so nice to see that we received awards in both.

Currently, bird has about 60,000 installs. The app creators are not planning to rest on their laurels:

In the near future, we want to redesign the filters, add infrastructure facilities (schools, kindergartens, shops, playgrounds) to the map, update the bird mascot of the application, which accompanies the user in their search for the one and only apartment.

You can follow the project updates in the bird’s official Telegram-channel.
