Gismart opens office in Kyiv for 50 employees

Belarusian-British company Gismart, which develops popular mobile games, plans to open an office in Kyiv, as reported to AIN.UA by representatives of the company. Choosing the location for their fourth office, the company stopped at the Ukrainian capital.

“We chose Kyiv because of many factors, including economic and geopolitical ones. But the main thing is a large professional community of mobile game developers. Gismart cooperates with many Ukrainian indie studios, and that’s why we know about the high level of expertise of CG-specialists, game designers, Unity developers, and other professionals in Kyiv,” the company said.

About Gismart

Gismart unites almost 300 professionals across Minsk, Beijing, and London. Gismart’s titles include Cool Goal!, Domino Smash, Cleon, Oil Tycoon, Beat Maker Go, Piano Crush, Guitar Play, WeDrum, with a total of 500 million downloads.

Opening date

According to the representatives of the company, the opening of the office is planned for January 2020. Now Gismart is completing the registration of the legal entity in Ukraine and is dealing with administrative issues associated with the opening of office space.

The office will be located in the center of Kyiv, and the company will announce the exact address later.

Job openings

Now Gismart is looking for about 20 specialists to the office in Kyiv. In total, the company plans to employ 40-50 people.

“We have already started the recruiting process and are interviewing Unity developers, 2D and 3D artists, directors, QA specialists. You can find the full list of the openings on the website, or you can talk to us personally at Games Gathering on December 7-8,” the company said.
