Polish startup CyberStudio attracts $250k

According to ITwis media, Rzeszów-based startup CyberStudio, which develops the intelligent system of advanced cybersecurity threat prediction, has raised a $250,000 round led by LT Capital.

CyberStudio’s product improves control over the level of IT infrastructure security by identifying potential security incidents in the IT system with AI algorithms. Additionally, the tool provides a possibility to react proactively to the suspicious actions and allows complying with applicable requirements in the field of a secure configuration of ICT services.

The system has functioned on the market since April 2019. But its founders Bartosz Kozłowski, a former head of Cybersecurity Unit at LOT, and Antoni Omondi have been working in the field of IT security for more than 10 years. Considering their experience and a tendency of dynamic digitalization of businesses, CyberStudio system was primarily created for companies that do not have internal IT security management specialists, Omondi tells.

The investor of CyberStudio LT Capital is an early-stage Polish fund focused on investment into the industry 4.0 companies from Central and Eastern Europe with Poland as the main site. Besides, CyberStudio’s project has already been supported by Samsung. The financial details are not disclosed, but it is known that the South Korean Giant enabled the startup to have technological consultations with the experts from its R&D department.

The startup is now planning to spend attracted capital for entering the foreign markets – South Africa and Singapore primarily and to prepare the company for the new larger financial round.
