Polish startup Coinfirm receives over $2M

Founded in early 2016 by Paweł Kuskowski, Paweł Aleksander and Jakub Fijołek, Coinfirm has attracted over $2 million from Middlegame Ventures, reports MamStartup.

Coinfirm is a blockchain analytics and Anti-Money Laundering company with headquarter in London. It develops regulatory technologies for blockchain assets based on Big Data and Machine Learning algorithms. Coinfirm offers SaaS solutions that help to identify cryptocurrency risks and automate their AML processes to financial institutions, cryptocurrency exchanges, governments and regulators.

In January 2020 startup has closed its first investment round and attracted over $4 million of funding from Bird Capital, UK venture capital fund. Other Coinfirm investors are NKB, Gauss Ventures, Blockchain Valley Ventures and Alfabeat. All of the aforementioned funds are interested in the area of FinTech, RegTech and blockchain.

This time the investor Middlegame Ventures is a FinTech Venture Capital firm that invests in early-stage growth businesses focused on Financial Innovation.

Coinfirm is planning to invest raised funds into the further development of its Travel Rule solution, as well as in the Trudatum and Reclaim Crypto initiatives.
