Zowie raises $620k for international expansion

Polish provider of automation-first support system Zowie has attracted $625k in a seed round from Inovo Ventures Partners and both Polish and foreign business angels, writes MamStartup.

The company develops AI-based tools to provide clients with solutions to marketing, lead generation, and customer service including:

  • Zowie Inbox – AI-centered solution designed to gather customer inquiries from all channels and respond to them from one place.
  • Zowie Builder is an all-in-one, modular tool designed for building responsive, fast, and highly customizable chatbots.
  • Zowie Chat is the live chat that supports all features of Builder and Inbox.

All of the tools integrate with popular messengers, live chats, customer service management tools and e-commerce platforms including Google Assistant and Spotify. Zowie analyzes real-time conversations and can automate answers to up to 80% of all questions after a week of its implementation, the company claims.

Founded at the beginning of 2019 by Maja Schaefer and Matt Ciolek, Zowie managed to acquire such big customers, as Brainly, L’Oréal, Yves Roche, InPost, as well as the Chancellery of the Prime Minister and the Polish Development Fund.    

The startup will spend attracted capital for entering the international markets, English-speaking primarily.
