Austrian social media monitoring startup Storyclash secures €1.8M

As reported by der brutkasten, Linz-based martech startup Storyclash has secured €1.8 million in the funding round led by Austrian OÖ HightechFonds and German A Round Capital VC funds. Existing investors Gründerfonds, Speedinvest and Michael Grabner Media also participated. 

Founded in 2014, Storyclash is a social media monitoring tool for companies that gives them a real-time view of what’s trending now. The platform analyzes social media interactions like shares, comments, likes, and reactions. It also allows user to measure the impact of influencer collaborations, discover viral articles, brand mentions.

In addition, the startup offers the competitor analysis service that enables to track competitor’s social media strategy performances and make data-driven decisions to boost website traffic and increase engagement. Nestle, Vodafone, Kaufland, Daimler, Adidas are already among its clients.

As the CEO and founder of Storyclash said, the startup will spend the proceeds on the further development of the tool. “Our goal is to continue to double our growth annually,” he maintained.
