Austrian real estate investment startup Rendity closes a €1.8M Seed round

Vienna-based crowdinvesting startup Rendity has raised a €1.8 million Seed funding from Austrian venture capital fund aws Founders Fund, as well as from real estate investors Daniel Jelitzka, managing director of JP Immobilien, and Ivan Holler, writes der brutkasten.

Rendity is a real estate lending & property share investment platform that allows users to lend to & invest from €500 in real estate urban locations in Vienna and Berlin from renowned project partners. The platform was established in 2014 by CEO Lukas Müller, Paul Brezina and CTO Tobias Leodolter.

More than 80 real estate projects have been financed since Rendity was founded, which had an average term of 28 months and generated a 6.1% return for investors per year. As a result, real estate projects of a total volume of €455 million have been realized in Germany and Austria in recent years.

“This financing is an important step towards realizing our ambitious expansion and international growth plans. The first point on the agenda is the further expansion of the office in Munich and development of additional real estate investment products,” the company says.
