Munich startup Usercentrics closes a €17M Series B round

Usercentrics has secured €17 million in a Series B financing round led by the US growth equity firm Full In Partners. Existing investors Alstin Capital, Reimann Investors, and Cavalry Ventures joined the round, the company announced in its press release.

Founded in 2017 by CEO Mischa Rürup, Usercentrics is a SaaS startup developing Consent Management solutions that help enterprise customers to obtain, manage and document the user consent, with all different aspects of consent storage, consent API’s and preference management systems.

According to the EU-wide General Data Protection Regulation, user consent is the most common legal basis for the use of web technologies for marketing and advertising purposes.

As Rürup maintains, Usercentrics is currently processing over a billion consents per day for leading enterprises helping businesses to implement their marketing strategies in compliance with international data privacy law.

The financial and operational support of investors will allow Usercentrics to increase its footprint in the North American market.
