Austrian e-health startup Probando receives funding from three investors

As reported by der brutkasten, Graz-based startup Probando has received a six-figure investment from Alfred Luger, co-founder and COO of Runtastic, business angel Georg Zenke, and the Styrian Business Promotion Agency. The financial details of the deal are not disclosed.

Probando develops an online platform for recruiting participants for medical researches. It was founded in 2020 and operates as a marketplace connecting research institutions from pharmaceuticals and medicine, as well as cosmetics and food industries with clinical trial patients. Registration for researches providers is free and recruitment can start immediately after all relevant parameters of their studies are entered in a form. 

According to the CEO and co-founder of Probando Matthias Ruhr, the startup is planning to use the proceeds for the expansion into the DACH region.
