Delivery Hero launches venture capital fund DX Ventures

German global delivery platform Delivery Hero has launched an independently managed VC fund called DX Ventures. The news was announced a few days after the company raised €1.2 billion in a share issue.

Having initial capital of €50 million, DX Ventures is fully funded by Delivery Hero. It is on a mission to support early-stage technology companies around the globe in the areas of on-demand services, food technology, sustainable innovation, artificial intelligence, fintech, and logistics. The DX Ventures team has already invested over €500 million of minority investments across a wide range of industries, including such startups as Rappi, Glovo, and Impossible Foods.

Delivery Hero is the world’s leading delivery platform, operating its service in more than 40 countries across Asia, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and North Africa and processing over 120 million orders on average per month.
