German SaaS startup Filestage closes a €2.8M Series A round

Stuttgart-based developer of the all-in-one online proofing software Filestage has raised €2.8 million in a Series A funding round led by Newion with participation from current investors HTGF and seed+seed Ventures, Tech.eu writes.

Founded in 2015, Filestage builds software that helps to share, manage, review, and approve media content as videos, audio files, designs, and documents with team members and clients. Instead of sending emails back and forth, reviewers annotate their comments and change requests directly inside the file. The startup’s services are used by companies and agencies worldwide including LG, Sixt, Sharp, and NBC Universal.

The proceeds will help the startup develop the product, particularly investing in the AI and analytics capabilities of the platform.
