The last record belonged to Gambit Esports and Virtus.pro, which got $500,000 each for victories at PGL Major Kraków 2017 and Flashpoint Season 2, respectively.

Oleksandr Petryk also noted that the first place globally in terms of earned prize money for one CS:GO championship is shared by Fnatic (England) and Team Envy (USA) – they managed to earn $800,000 each at WESG tournaments.
