Tallinn-based startup Vok Bikes raises $969K

Estonian startup Vok Bikes, a producer of electricity powered cargo-bikes, has raised $969K in pre-seed funding round, Tech.EU reports. The round was led by United Angels VC and Superangel with participation from top regional business angels.

Founded in 2019 by Indrek Petjärv, Siim Starke and Riho Koop, Vok Bikes is a producer of electricity powered cargo-bikes. Vok was developed especially for couriers and postal workers and Vok bikes are all manufactured and assembled in Estonia.

The raised money will be used to accelerate the manufacturing of the next 100 vehicles and the expansion to major European cities within the next 12 months.
