Headless CMS Storyblok secures $8.5M to expand its service globally

Storyblok-1

Storyblok offers a headless content management system (CMS) for solo developers, marketers and editors, as well as for enterprise customers. Launched in 2015, the startup now has over 39,000 users worldwide including such business clients as Pizza Hut, Adidas, Decathlon.

Unlike a traditional CMS, Storyblok allows to repurpose and manage content across multiple platforms through one of its APIs by providing visual editing tools and customizable content blocks. As the co-founder and CEO emphasized, Storyblok’s solution succeeds also because of its simplicity of use by non-technical people, not only by developers.

The fresh funds will help Storyblok to accelerate the international expansion through Germany and the Republic of Ireland, drive platform innovation with the launch of a custom design system and scale its team globally.
