Apple launches Ukrainian website version and starts localization

Apple has expanded the localization of its website, and now it is available in Ukrainian apple.com/ua. The majority of the content is still in English. However, some of the information is already in Ukrainian. The company also listed the official retailers of its products in Ukraine.

According to the Internet Archive, from approximately December 2020 to early March 2021, this web address was redirected to the home page of the website. Before that, the redirect did not work (it produced a Page not Found message). So, the page may have been up and running fairly recently (in March 2021).

It may be connected with Apple’s plans to enter the Ukrainian market. In the spring of 2020, the company registered a legal entity in Ukraine and posted several openings. For example, in February, the company published a position of Indirect Tax Analyst for the office in Kyiv.
