DressX, a digital clothing store founded by two Ukrainians, raises $2 million

The startup, which develops DressX, a virtual clothing store, has announced that it has raised a $2 million seed funding round.

  • The round was led by The Artemis Fund and Alpha Edison, with participation from Unlock Venture Partners, One Way Ventures, TLF Ventures, Startup Mavericks, and Signal Peak Ventures.
  • The startup team plans to spend the funds raised on scaling and developing sales across multiple channels.
  • DressX was launched in 2020 in the United States by two Ukrainians, Daria Shapovalova and Natalia Modenova. The startup DressX develops a store where you can choose and buy digital clothes.
  • To get your picture in a digital dress, you have to upload a good-quality light photo with no harsh shadows. Wait 1-2 days to process it. The store sells virtual versions of some designs, with physical forms of some others also available.
