Ukrainian entrepreneurs invest in UK’s The Good Plastic Company

Andriy Fedoriv, founder of the Fedoriv agency, as well as co-founders of Nova Poshta Volodymyr Popereshniuk and Viacheslav Klimov, have invested in the recycling company The Good Plastic Company, as Andriy Fedoriv announced on his Facebook page.

This is the second tranche of the investment. The first one was in mid-November and was reported by AIN.Business. The financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

About The Good Plastic Company

The Good Plastic Company is an international brand incorporated in the United Kingdom, with production facilities in Bila Tserkva, Ukraine. The company produces 1.4*2.8 m plastic panels from granules of recycled plastic — used household appliances, disposable forks and spoons, yogurt bottles, bumpers, and ocean trash.

Founder and CEO of The Good Plastic Company is a serial entrepreneur, William Chizhovsky.

As Fedoriv says in his post, on December 17, the Ukrainian facility moved to the industrial park in Bila Tserkva and increased its productivity by three times. It was previously reported that the plant could process 1,000 to 2,000 tons of plastic per year.

“The production lines work seven days a week in two shifts. About 98% of the products are exported. Our key markets are the Netherlands, the UK, France, Norway, Spain, Italy, and Japan. The main new equipment will be delivered by the end of April. We implement the philosophy of Lean (Kaizen). We are growing,” Andriy noted.
