Alphamoon raises €2.1M to help companies automate document processing using AI

Alphamoon, a Wroclaw-based startup developing an AI-based platform for document automation, has raised €2.1 million in seed investment led by Sunfish Partners.

  • Launched in 2017 by Adam Gonczarek, Paweł Świątek, and Norbert Raus, Alphamoon’s platform helps companies extract data from documents in order to automate their business operations. It allows users to avoid the issue of document work overload.
  • The €2.1 million seed round was led by Sunfish Partners, a German venture capital fund. Satus Starter, a Poland-based fund, also participated in the round.

“Alphamoon has the potential to make document processing much more efficient. It’s a billion-dollar market and we are thrilled to support Alphamoon in discovering it,”

Marcus Erken from Sunfish Partners comments on the investment.
  • Alphamoon has a number of large enterprise clients in Poland. The list includes Santander Bank, Bank Pekao SA, and the leading energy supplier PGNiG.
  • The fresh funding will help Alphamoon expand to the global markets and further develop the platform.
