Ukrainian cat Stepan receives World Influencers and Bloggers Award in Cannes. Now he’s impressed

The cat Stepan from the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv, who has become famous on social media for his relaxed appearance, won the prestigious World Influencers and Bloggers Award in Cannes, France, Suspilne reports. Now he finally seems really impressed (not really him, but his owner Hanna).

• World Influencers and Bloggers Awards is a ceremony that honors the most successful bloggers around the world. 
• The 2022 event was dedicated to raising funds to help Ukraine as it continues to fight for its sovereignty against russia.
• Stepan was nominated earlier, on March 30, for his fundraising efforts for his native Ukraine. The cat managed to raise more than $10,000 to help his fellow pets, who suffered from the war unleashed by russia.
• During the ceremony in Cannes, where cat Stepan received his World Influencers and Bloggers Award, he was accompanied by popular Tin Tok blogger Khaby Lame.

After the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Stepan and his family evacuated from Kharkiv, which was heavily shelled by occupants. The cat is now safe in France and raises funds for the Ukrainian relief through his popular Instagram and Tik Tok accounts.
