Latvian BADideas.fund invests €100k in Lithuanian startup Breezit

The Riga-based BADideas.fund has invested its first €100,000 in a pre-seed round for Lithuanian event organization startup Breezit. This is the safe note investment that is part of a larger round now in the process of closing.

  • Freshly founded, BADideas.fund is an early-stage angel syndicate providing €50k-€100k funding for CEE startups.
  • Currently, the fund has 21 members. Among them are experienced founders and operators who have built the companies like Bolt, Vimeo, Printify, Pandadoc, Pipedrive, Apollo.io, Bird, Shopify, Whimsical, Lokalise, and Deel.
  • The fund has chosen Lithuania’s Breezit as its first company for investment. As a SaaS-enabled marketplace, Breezit offers both customer acquisition and business management solutions for venue operators, photographers, caterers, and event coordinators.
  • The funds will allow Breezit to grow its customer base, as well as to expand geographically to the US market.
