Tallinn-based startup HotelBuddy raises €420k from Startup Wise Guys

The Tallinn-based hospitality startup HotelBuddy has raised €420,000 pre-seed investment from Estonian accelerator Startup Wise Guys. The funding will allow the startup to continue developing its product and expand its reach out of the Baltics.

• Founded in 2020, HotelBuddy offers a unified solution digitizing hotel guest journeys from check-in to check-out contactless. The software allows hotel employees to manage the reservations, guest profiles, special requests and track all ongoing processes.
• Startup Wise Guys led the pre-seed round. It is one of the Estonian most active accelerators focusing on Sustainability, Fintech, and Cybersecurity startups in the CEE region and the Nordics.
• The accelerator has recently invested in the Lithuanian logtech GoRamp during its €1.5 million seed round. Also, the Ukrainian manufacturer of biodegradable packaging, S.Lab, has secured €80,000 from the investor.
• HotelBuddy will use the fresh funding to further facilitate its product development. Also, it will enable the startup to expand outside of the Baltics to the CEE region.
