Finnish cleantech startup Ori Solution raises €250k

Ori Solution, a Lahti-based cleantech company developing a renewable energy technology, has raised €250,000 in a pre-seed round. The latest capital injection will feed the development of its technology, ArcticStartup reports.

  • Founded in 2019 by Finnish entrepreneurs, Ori Solution develops a flow-to-electrical energy technology — ORI module. It revolutionizes the conversion of kinetic fluid, as well as gas energy to electrical energy. The solution works for wind, hydro, and waste flow environments.

“We have never been in a more urgent need for clean and efficient energy solutions than now. This funding enables us to secure our breakthrough technology IPRs and initiate the validation of our technology. We are eager to speed up the doing. We are here to contribute to solving our common challenges,”

Joakim Berndtsson, CEO and Co-Founder, comments on the investment.
  • Ori Solution does not disclose the names of investors participating in this round. Earlier, the company secured a €50,000 pre-seed investment in April 2020 and a €25,000 funding in November 2019.
  • The fresh funding will enable Ori Solution to further develop and validate its patented technology. So far, the company has secured one patent and has two patents pending.
