Polish foodtech startup Gaminate raises €530k

The Polish-based startup Gaminate has raised about €530,000 (2.5 million PLN) for supplements production. The funds AgriTech Hub and ASP Capital are the lead investors in this round, MamStartup reports.

  • Founded in 2020 by Marcin Leśniak, Robert Samaruk, and Piotr Tytyk, Gaminate develops and produces performance booster supplements. The product is a powdery solution to prepare energy drinks for gamers. The company claims that the 12-ingredient formula increases users’ the energy level and concentration for up to 6 hours.
  • The product is intended for all people who have mentally-demanding jobs. The Gaminate’s customers are programmers, office workers, as well as gamers and e-sports professionals. The startup has already sold over a million servings of the supplement and acquires over 40,000 clients.
  • AgriTech Hub, a Polish agritech and foodtech VC, and ASP Capital, a Wrocław-based VC, provided the most of the €530,000 funding. The existing investor SMOK Ventures also joined the round, along with several business angels. In total, Gaminate has raised €910,000 since its launch in 2020.
  • The fresh financing will enable Gaminate to launch its new product line and facilitate sells in new markets.
