Blockchain company NEAR Protocol invests in Datrics, a Ukrainian startup

The Ukrainian startup Datrics has received investment from blockchain company NEAR Protocol. According to the company, the deal will help to accelerate growth and expand analytical solutions. In particular, those in the Web3 and NEAR ecosystem.

  • Forbes reported on the deal first. According to the report, the capitalization of NEAR Protocol reaches $3 billion.
  • The amount of the deal is not disclosed. But, since its inception, Datrics has raised more than $1.5 million in funding.
  • Following the latest round in August 2021, the startup team has grown by 50%, to 30 people.
  • Datrics’ founders and some of the investors made a cash-out and converted the proceeds from the shares sale into NEAR tokens.

Datrics develops a no-code platform that allows companies of any size to perform high-level data analysis without involving programmers. Initially, Datrics posed as a tool for banks and research firms. However, over time, more Web3 projects became its clients. With time, the startup started focusing on blockchain.

In 2021, ICU Ventures, a venture fund within the ICU Financial Group, invested in Datrics. At that time, the companies did not disclose the amount of the deal. A few months later, Datrics entered the YCombinator accelerator’s winter online round and received $125,000 in investment.
