Lithuanian company Solvo launches a new app to help invest in crypto

The Vilnius-based fintech company Solvo launches a new app to provide access to quality crypto investments in a seamless and transparent way. Early in 2022, it raised $3.5 million in a seed funding round from Index Ventures to fund this launch.

  • Founded in 2022 by Ayelen Denovitzer and Shailendra Sason, Solvo is a new finance company. It aims at battling misinformation associated with crypto. The company makes crypto simple, easy, and understandable by curating the best, as well as high-quality investments.
  • Now, it is launching a new iOS App with an initial suite of transparent products. It will provide crypto-interested investors both diversification and yield. The app will allow long-term holdings in high-quality coins such as Solana and Cardano.

“Until now crypto-investing has been complex, unclear and required highly specialised knowledge. Solvo is about to change that. Investing with Solvo will be simple, easy and understandable – three words not associated with crypto,”

Ayelen Denovitzer, Solvo co-founder and CEO, explains.
  • Index Ventures, a global venture capital firm, was the lead investor in the January 2022 round, which saw the participation from CoinFund and FJ Labs. The funding allowed Solvo to build a 10-strong team of industry experts, and build its first product offerings.
  • At launch, Solvo will also function as a wallet that supports buying, selling, deposit, and withdrawal of the 10 highest quality crypto-currencies with a simple, intuitive interface.
