Bulgarian Fight Scout raises $50k seed for its combat sports community app

The Sofia-based social networking app that allows users to find and connect with other members of the combat sports community Fight Scout raises $50,000 in a seed round. The investment was led by Vitosha Venture Partners.

  • Launched in 2021 by Lubomir Guedjev, Fight Scout develops the app that allows to explore and connect to the entire combat sports community around the world, grow own network with fighters, managers, and organizations, find fights, managers, scout for events who need fighters.
  • The app is available to download on iOS App Store and Google Play. Fight Scout claims that the app helps fans to find events by location, type of combat sport, or specific dates, receive notifications on the promotions or fighters, buy tickets for live shows or watch them live on mobile devices, and get all the relevant information on a single screen.
  • The fresh round was led by Vitosha Venture Partners, one of the most active Bulgarian VC funds due to AIN.Capital. In December 2022 Vitosha Ventures led the €725,000 round for Bulgarian deep-tech startup QuarkXR.

“Fight Scout has a clear vision for the future of the combat sport community, and we’re excited to be a part of that. We believe in the company’s mission and are confident in their ability to execute on their plans for growth”,

said a spokesperson of Vitosha Venture Partners.
  • Fight Scout plans to spend the funds on improving the app’s user experience, expanding its user base, and continuing to build out its features.
