Polish Delivery Couple secures €300k for its delivery robots development

Lublin-based manufacturer of delivery robots Delivery Couple has secured almost €300,000 from Czysta3.VC and Techni Ventures, MamStartup informs.

  • Founded in 2021 by Sergiy Lebedyn, Delivery Couple manufactures semi-autonomous and zero-emission sidewalk delivery robots helping marketplaces, restaurants, and food delivery services in last-mile operations. As the startup emphasizes, its robots are not intended to eliminate human work, but only to support it within a distance of up to 3 kilometers from the pick-up location.
  • The investment came from the Polish early-stage investment fund Czysta3.VC and seed-stage venture capital firm Techni Ventures.

“We have completed the R&D stage. When it comes to hardware, we have a very competitive and fully proprietary device (robot), and now we need to make it more intelligent, which is why Delivery Couple will allocate the fresh funds to the development of the autonomy of its robo-couriers,”

Sergiy Lebedyn, founder and CEO of Delivery Couple, says about the stratup’s plans.
  • Delivery Couple is operating in 9 Polish cities already — Warsaw, Kraków, Rzeszów, Sopot, Poznań, Białystok, Wrocław, Katowice, and Lublin, with plans to expand to many more, including abroad.
