Hungarian startup Talk-a-Bot raises €3.5M to improve corporate communication

Budapest-based startup Talk-a-Bot has raised €3.5 million in a fresh funding round, which will help use the power of AI to fuel a corporate communication culture change. Szechenyi Funds is the lead investor in the startup, which was earlier supported by Rakuten-Viber, EU-Startups informs.

  • Founded in 2016, Talk-a-Bot develops chatbots that help conduct corporate communications. Its AI-based system automates the internal and external communication of companies. Essentially, it makes communications more streamlined, turning digital business conversations into secure, app-like services for both customers and employees.
  • The startup has its own proprietary communications tool — CHEQ. Talk-a-Bot’s multilingual bots natively support over 100 languages and are built from over 30 integrable function modules. The startup claims that the bots help achieve at least 85%-95% response accuracy rate.

“Our solution has created a significant market and new service in Hungary and is now used by more than 100 international and domestic companies. We expand abroad in order to support the digitalization of the CEE corporate life, especially the manufacturing sector,”

Akos Deliaga, Founding Managing Director of Talk-A-Bot, comments.
  • Széchenyi Capital led the funding round. It is one of the largest and most active investors in the Hungarian capital market. It manages assets of more than €385 million, including 80 portfolio companies.
  • With the fresh funds, Talk-a-Bot is now planning to expand further in the CEE market, taking up a leadership role in the space.
