Czech AI-startup Filuta raises $2.5M in a pre-seed round

The Czech AI-startup Filuta has raised $2.5 million (56 million CZK) in a pre-seed round of financing. It is the largest investment on this stage, the startup claims.

  • Launched by Filip Dvorak and Martin Doušek in September 2022, Filuta runs and manages the intelligent automation services. The startup targets small and medium-sized businesses. Filuta analyzes their data and, based on it, creates a service that searches for the most effective solution to any problem in the long term and autonomously.
  • Filuta claims that thanks to its technology, it is possible to achieve up to ten times lower costs and ten times higher speed than in the case of manual development of customized solutions.

“Our technology dramatically accelerates the design of intelligent automation solutions, i.e., a combination of industry-known automation and artificial intelligence. In addition, it is widely applicable to a whole range of industries and can basically solve any problem for which there is data,”

Martin Doušek, co-founder & CTO of Filuta AI, said.
  • The investment came from local investors Nation 1 fund and the SPM Invest group, as well as from EIC Fund in the frames of EU Horizon Europe program and Microsoft’s program for promising startups.
  • Filuta will use the fresh funding for the strengthening of the team and accelerating the product’s development. The startup says, it plans to close another investment round in 2024.
