Estonian cybersecurity startup RangeForce secures $18.5M

Estonia-founded cybersecurity startup RangeForce has raised $18.5 million in fresh funding from undisclosed investors. The round was closed back in December 2022 to deal with the shortage of cybersecurity professionals, Invest in Estonian informs.

  • Founded in 2015 by Taavi Must, Jaanus Kink, and Margus Ernits, RangeForce develops a cloud-based cybersecurity training platform for enterprise IT and cybersecurity teams. Its platform equips teams with threat scenarios and real-world security solutions. This allows enterprises to measurably improve their cybersecurity.
  • The startup’s customer base includes such companies as Microsoft, Barclays, and Santander. It is currently headquartered in Virginia, US, and has regional offices in Tallinn and London.

  • In total, RangeForce has raised $36.5 million from different investors such as Paladin Capital Group, Energy Impact Partners, and Trind Ventures. The company did not reveal the names of its current investors.
  • The fresh funding will help RangeForce expand its offerings and continue to address the shortage of skilled cybersecurity professionals.
