Estonian cybersecurity startup RangeForce secures ＄18.5M
Estonia-founded cybersecurity startup RangeForce has raised $18.5 million in fresh funding from undisclosed investors. The round was closed back in December 2022 to deal with the shortage of cybersecurity professionals, Invest in Estonian informs.
- Founded in 2015 by Taavi Must, Jaanus Kink, and Margus Ernits, RangeForce develops a cloud-based cybersecurity training platform for enterprise IT and cybersecurity teams. Its platform equips teams with threat scenarios and real-world security solutions. This allows enterprises to measurably improve their cybersecurity.
- The startup’s customer base includes such companies as Microsoft, Barclays, and Santander. It is currently headquartered in Virginia, US, and has regional offices in Tallinn and London.
“RangeForce is proof that success is not solely reliant on engineering or operating, but rather a unique network of scientists, engineers, and businessmen who help you create something completely new,”Taavi Must, CEO of RangeForce, explains the startup.
- In total, RangeForce has raised $36.5 million from different investors such as Paladin Capital Group, Energy Impact Partners, and Trind Ventures. The company did not reveal the names of its current investors.
- The fresh funding will help RangeForce expand its offerings and continue to address the shortage of skilled cybersecurity professionals.
