Bulgarian fintech TouchMenu secures €370K to digitize the HoReCa industry

The Sofia-based startup TouchMenu which develops interactive digital platforms for hotels, restaurants, and cafes has secured €370,000 to expand its services on a regional level and conquer new markets. The fresh round was led by New Vision 3. 

  • Launched in 2020 by Plamena Petkova and Todor Bobev, TouchMenu provides a SaaS platform that allows hotel managers seamless integration and customization for the needs and requirements of the customers. TouchMenu claims that using its platform increases the average value of a restaurant or room bill by 15-20%.
  • TouchMenu also provides customers with their own digital concierge, to optimize the workforce, reduce paper use and paper waste, and better customer experience. The platform allows setting clients’ preferences for food, drinks, and activities.
  • Bulgarian New Vision 3 was a leading investor in this round, angel investors also joined. Recently, the fund co-led €510,000 for Swipe.bg, the Sofia-based platform for buying and selling used smartphones, AIN.Capital informs.

  • With the fresh funds, TouchMenu plans to expand the team, to build and deliver its fully functional module for communication between a hotel and its guests. TouchMenu also aims to expand its services to Western Balkans, Central Europe, the DACH region, and the Middle East.
