Ukrainian AI startup Harmix raises ＄500k from Canadian investors

Ukrainian AI startup Harmix raises ＄500k from Canadian investors, Vector reports. The company does not disclose the names of the investors but stated that it is an international fund.

• Harmix is an AI-powered service that automatically selects the right music for your video. For this, the algorithm analyzes the objects, mood, activity, and dynamics of the video. According to information on the website, the startup’s software has already analyzed more than a million videos and 32 million audio recordings.
• This is not the first investment for Harmix. At the pre-seed stage, the startup received a $25,000 grant from the Ukrainian Startup Fund and $13,000 from Amazon.
• The startup team also took part in the TechCrunch Disrupt 2022 conference in San Francisco as part of the Ukrainian delegation.
• With the fresh funds, Harmix will continue to improve its MVP and explore the B2B direction.
