Estonian-founded fintech Change secures €2M in a funding

The Amsterdam-based Change, crypto investment company, has secured €2 million of investment from Andromeda Capital Partners Suisse AG. The investment will be spent for the further development and expansion, Tech.eu reports.

  • Founded in Tallinn in 2016 by Gustav Liblik and Kristjan Kangro, the startup develops the multi-asset platform that includes cryptocurrencies, stocks, derivatives, and yielding assets. In 2021 Change raised a €3.7 million crowdfunding round from 50 private investors.

“Change is a rapidly growing fintech, providing everyone in Europe access to investments. Tens of thousands of people from 31 EU countries trust Change to build their financial future and have traded over 170 million euros with us. We believe the world would be a fundamentally better place if everybody invested.”

  • The fresh round of investment was led by Swiss-based private equity firm Andromeda Capital Partners Suisse AG. The firm currently holds approximately 4.5% of the company’s shareholding and aims to acquire a larger shareholding in the future.
  • Change claims that the funding will help it to become a major player in the market and to expand its crypto investment app globally.
