LvivTech.City damaged by Russia’s missile attack

On July 6, Russian forces launched a rocket attack on Lviv, as a result of which at least 10 people died and 40 were injured. As DOU reports, one of the rockets hit a residential building near the LvivTech.City innovation park, which was hit by the blast wave.

  • The building of the office center was damaged, but not critically. No one was injured, as there were no residents in the building at the time of the explosion.

“Now we are trying to assess the scale of the damage and preparing a further plan of action. We will make every effort to renew the usual rhythm of innovation park,”

  • The LvivTech.City team posted a photo of the destruction on Instagram.
  • The upper floors of the residential building, which was hit by the shell, were destroyed. Educational institutions and several dormitories of the Lviv Polytechnic were also affected. Mayor of Lviv Andriy Sadovyi reported that a total of 35 buildings were damaged, about 50 apartments, and more than 50 cars were destroyed.
  • On October 10, 2022, Russia fired more than 80 missiles over Ukrainian cities. As a result of this massive shelling, the 101 Tower business center in Kyiv, where Samsung’s Ukraine office and R&D is located, got damaged. One of the neighboring buildings also suffered damage during that attack. Namely, the Eurasia business center, which houses the office of Microsoft Ukraine.
