Austrian drone startup subdron raises €1.3M in a pre-seed round

Lauterach-based innovative startup subdron has raised €1.3 million in a pre-seed round to advance the underwater structures inspection with autonomous drones. The investment round was co-led by xista science ventures and Faber, with participation from Saber, EU-Startups informs.

  • Founded in 2018, subdron specializes in autonomous underwater navigation and data processing for underwater inspections. The startup’s solution enhances Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) with vanguard technology and AI to autonomously sense and inspect underwater infrastructure such as port facilities and ship hulls.
