  • Prefixbox was founded in 2014 by Istvan Simon. The startup focuses on e-commerce, messaging, product search, retail technology, SaaS, search engine, and semantic search. Using its fully managed search, recommend, and insights solutions, Prefixbox aims to improve the shopping experience for increased conversion rate and revenue.

  • Euroventures, Budapest-based leading independent private equity and venture capital firm, led this round. Currently, the firm manages two funds (Euroventures IV and Euroventures V Coop) and targets innovative, growing companies.
  • Among its latest investments is €10 million round for Hungarian-founded software startup Antavo.
  • The fresh funds will be used to boost the company’s tech stack and expand its footprint in the global retail market.
