Ukraine’s job platform Work.ua stops working with companies that stayed in Russia: Auchan, PepsiCo, Leroy Merlin, etc.

From 10 August 2023, Ukraine’s largest job platform Work.ua will stop working with international companies that are still operating in the Russian market. This refusal will cost the company about UAH 5 million, the company told AIN.Capital. The brands who stayed in Russia include: Auchan, PepsiCo, Leroy Merlin, and others.

  • The company will cease to work with and provide services to these brands and will terminate contracts with them. The following the list includes such international brands:

  • The reason for this decision is that these companies, through their activities in Russia, directly or indirectly support Russian attacks in Ukraine.

“Today we are cancelling contracts worth more than UAH 5 million. We are returning this money to its owners and in no way want to be involved in the activities of these companies in Ukraine and the world,”

the company said.
  • The company also calls on other Ukrainian companies to end their cooperation with such brands.
  • The list of companies is based on data from the National Agency on Corruption Prevention of Ukraine’s International Sponsors of War, as well as the Leave Russia project promoted by the Kyiv School of Economics.
