Finnish XR startup Younite-AI secures significant private equity investment

Younite-AI, a frontrunner in AI and XR software solutions, has successfully secured a substantial round of private equity investment from Bocap. The financing will help the company to accelerate the development of its AI/Extended Reality (XR) software.

  • Founded in 2017 and led by Afa Heikkinen, Younite-AI is a AI engineering, design, and software development company based in New York, as well as in Helsinki and Oulu. The startup’s goal is to build the next generation of AI and XR-based digital products and systems.
  • The team of over 80 creative technology specialists leverages their skills in design, development, AI, 3D technologies, and creative thinking to address business challenges, creating solutions that yield both immediate and progressively growing ROI.

  • However, the companies did not disclose the exact amount of the deal, Bocap acted as the lead investor. It is a forerunner that introduced the first Finnish genuine growth equity investment fund in 2012 and has since been dedicated to Finnish SMEs. The firm has an investment portfolio that includes Bolt.Works, Quuppa, and Eficode.
  • This infusion of capital is a reflection of Younite-AI’s track record of successful initiatives and an essential leap towards their ambition. The funds will help the company accelerate the development of its AI and XR technology.
