Estonian Trind VC led a €2.1M seed round for home services marketplace Webel

Spanish marketplace Webel has announced its fresh €2.1 million round led by Trind Ventures, primarily for expansion purposes. The round joined by ZAKA Ventures, Decelera Ventures, Tiburon Ventures, and other business angels.

  • Webel was founded by Nacho, Carlos, Guillermo, and Javier, in October 2019 they launched the app. Its app helps clients can search, book, compare, pay, and review home sevices. Webel also offers a SaaS tool to manage their services and an algorithm that would compare the professional’s repetition with its peers and reward the most loyal suppliers with higher visibility and a lower commission. 
  • The startup was lunched in Madrid but have already expanded into Barcelona, and Zaragoza. In February this year, Webel already received €550,000 round also led by Trind VC.

  • The fresh round was led by exciting investor Trind Ventures, a seed-stage venture fund focusing on European software startups with a consumer or community component. Czech ZAKA Ventures, Spanish Decelera Ventures, and German Tiburon Ventures joined the investment.
  • Webel aims to deliver over 1 million services per year and expand into new markets like Italy and the UK.
