Polish startup Nevomo wins €10k during The Business Booster 2023
Warsaw-based deep tech startup Nevomo has secured the first place during The Business Booster 2023 pitching sessions and won €10,000 in prize money. The startup develops the next generation of high speed railways — the MagRail system.
- Nevomo was founded in 2017. It develops a technology for a MagRail system, a passive magnetic levitation train operating on existing railway tracks at speeds up to 550 kph. The technology makes an existing proven railway system more efficient and fully digital, adding capacity, frequency, and flexibility of operations and ultimately speed, to allow a major shift from road and air to rail.
“It was incredibly encouraging to receive such positive feedback from the esteemed jury at the most important EU cleantech summit TBB 2023 in Amsterdam about Nevomo’s MagRail, the only guided transport technology that can quickly drastically reduce emissions in line with Green Deal’s timelines, before other means like hyperloop are ready to become interconnected with it,”

- Nevomo took the first place in the pitching sessions. Other finalists included: Elestor B.V., X1 Wind, HSL Technologies, and EcoBean, which recently secured €7 million in funding.
