Poland’s bValue Fund acquires a local cloud & server rovider Hostersi

bValue, a growth equity fund, has acquired a 69% share in Hostersi, Rybnik-based provider of cloud migration and 24/7 cloud infrastructure maintenance services. This is the first significant transaction of the third fund of bValue, AIN.Capital was informed.

  • Hostersi was founded in 2007 by Radoslaw Kuczera and Tomasz Dwornicki, Damian Rutkowski. It specializes in IT services such as server solutions architecting, cloud computing implementation, DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, containers, and servers management for banks, advertising agencies, startups, and public institutions. The company has also partnered with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Founded in 2017 by Maciej Balsewicz, bValue Growth is a growth equity fund focused on high-growth and profitable companies in the CEE region. Recently, it announced a pre-seed investment in Vidoc Security Lab.

  • The fresh deal marks the first major transaction for bValue Growth, the third fund of bValue – which targets investments of €5-15 million in small and medium-sized enterprises. With a capital of approximately €80 million, the fund is approaching its final close.
  • The founders of the company, remain as partners of the company and together with bValue, they aim to achieve an annual revenue of €50 million in the coming years.
