Polish Hintech raises $230k for podcast search engine development

The Polish startup Hintech has raised $230,000 (1 million złotyсh) to develop a tool for comprehensive podcast analysis. SpeedUpGroup led the investment round, MamStartup reports.

• Hintech was founded in 2020. It develops a podcast analysis tool and a search engine. The tool retrieves open data from services such as Spotify and Google Podcast, as well as hosting platforms and directly from podcasters’ accounts.
• The obtained data includes the subject of recordings, podcast topics, cooperating brands, or contact details. Hintech’s in-browser search engine allows users to easily find a podcast using keywords or phrases from them.
• The SpeedUp Bridge Alfa fund, part of SpeedUpGroup, was the leadi investor in this round. It is an early-stage venture capital fund based in Poznan, Poland, that targets investments in the energy service, energy equipment, and healthcare sectors.
• Hintech plans to use the funds for further development of its technology. The team will expand its functionality with the analysis of audience demographics and previous marketing campaigns.
