For 13 years, Yaroslava and Serhii Bilousov have been developing their “brainchild”, the agricultural goods store Agri, which offers customers organic plant protection products, garden tools, irrigation systems, and more. The couple has their own plot of land outside the city, where they test agricultural materials in order to provide customers with professional advice in the store.

«If today it was necessary to come up with a tagline for our activity, then the expression “We have been operating for thirteen years on the market. And we are still working hard…” would convey it most fully. For us, it was very important not only to become independent and work for ourselves, but also to gain a certain reputation, recognition of clients, and to be useful to society. Holding lectures on rational drip irrigation systems and organic plant protection products at the Organic Agriculture Club branches only proves that we have chosen the right path of development»

An average Ukrainian who has his own small plot of land and strives to provide himself with vegetable and berry products — this is how the generalized portrait of the Agri customer looks like.

At the beginning of the full-scale war, when the Russian army came close to the Obolon district in Kyiv, Yaroslava and Serhiy left the city, but returned in May and continued to work in the store.

Because of the war, food prices are constantly rising, and even the purchase of essential goods becomes difficult for the low-income people. Vegetables and berries grown at home are significant food support for many Ukrainians. Therefore, the spouses justify the mission of their family business as follows

«We stimulate the private sector to independently grow agricultural crops, provide quality materials at affordable prices, introduce new technologies, and support the economic power of Ukraine»
