Fedosov Family Farm is a farm of the Fedosov family, established in 2021 in the village of Stepova Dolyna, located in the south of Mykolaiv region. The company produces honey, grows medicinal herbs, and manufactures the finished products based on them. The assortment of Fedosov Family The farm includes popular dessert mixtures of honey with nuts and dried fruits, as well as its original product — phyto honey, which is aged on such herbs as mint, lavender, and medicinal hyssop.
For more than twenty years, the Fedosovs have been engaged in beekeeping and plant growing, developing a culture of caring for the land. The idea of establishing a business appeared after the youngest son of the family, Yakov, returned from agricultural practice in Denmark and decided to apply the experience he gained there to work on his farm.
The Fedosovs family grows all the plants on their farm next to the apiary. Therefore, at first, the herbs are used by bees to collect nectar, and then the dried herbs become raw materials for the production of herbal medicine.
Until recently, the village of Stepova Dolyna was in the area of hostilities. The family temporarily moved to a safer territory of Ukraine. Production had to be suspended. And only a few days ago, the Fedosovs managed to get back to their apiary to look at the farm and understand the scale of destruction and damage. There is a lot of work ahead to restore the apiary, plantings, production facilities, and a house.
The family has many plans for the future — to equip a modern premises for the production and packaging of products, to certify the production, to start conquering the domestic and foreign markets. Participation in the SEED project helped entrepreneurs develop a business plan for the launch of a new product called Honey Paste 292+.
