Solarisbank launches a technology hub in Ukraine and hires a team

Solarisbank, a European technology company with a German banking license, has opened a technology center in Ukraine. In connection with the expansion of its presence in the Ukrainian market, Solaris Tech, a local subsidiary of Solarisbank, is recruiting a team, as the press service of Solarisbank told AIN.UA.

  • Solarisbank is developing a Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) platform, which allows other partner companies to integrate modular banking services into their financial products using API interfaces. Solarisbank’s services include digital bank accounts and payment cards, identity solutions, as well as lending and digital assets.
  • The company now employs over 450 people. Solarisbank is headquartered in Berlin.
  • The new technology center in Ukraine is headed by Dumitru Condrea, who previously held senior positions at Ukrainian IT companies IDEXX, Ning, and Carbook.

“The Solarisbank Kyiv technology center is open to Ukrainian professional engineers who can become part of one of the most exciting stories in Europe. We look forward to working together to transform the banking industry and meet the industry’s specific challenges,” said Condrea.

Solarisbank is currently recruiting engineers for its Ukrainian hub team. There are openings for AWS Cloud Software Development, Java, Ruby Golang, and Elixir. You can check them all out here.
