Polish company Jetson receives $15M in seed round for the development of flying cars

Polish-founded company Jetson has received $15 million to design and develop modern flying car models. Interestingly, one of the investors who backed the startups is the popular singer Will.i.am, leader of the Black Eyed Peas, MamStartup reports.

  • Jetson, co-founded by Tomasz Patan, is a Pioneering eVTOL company with a mission to change the way people travel. The company aims to make the skies available for everyone with the first “flying car” in the market, Jetson ONE, a safe and fun personal electric aerial vehicle with deliveries starting already in 2024.

“Jetson is on a mission to redefine the future of air mobility and transportation. We are enabling new and exciting ways of travel which will solve many problems, ultimately making our cities a much better place to live. I think the US market is a great opportunity for Jetson,”

  • Jetson operates a beautiful R&D and production facility in Arezzo, Tuscany. The company has already sold over 300 units at a total price of $98,000, with a down payment of $8,000 to reserve your serial number.

  • will.i.am is one of the leading investors in the company. Apart from being a popular American singer, he is also a tech entrepreneur and consultant to automotive companies. The names of other angel investors are not disclosed.
  • Following the fresh fundraiser, Jetson will soon launch its Series A financing round ahead of starting first shipments in 2024.
