Estonian QANplatform secures $15M to advance quantum-resistant blockchain technology

Tallinn-based QANplatform, a quantum-resistant Layer 1 blockchain, has secured a $15 million investment from MBK Holding. The startup plans to launch a new testnet.

  • QANplatform is the quantum-resistant Layer 1 hybrid blockchain platform that will allow developers and enterprises to build quantum-resistant smart contracts and Web3 solutions on top of the QAN blockchain platform in any programming language (like: JavaScript, Java, Python, TypeScript, C, C++, C#, etc). Since February 2023, QANplatform is an Official Blockchain Partner of Formula 1 Esports Series.
  • As a hybrid blockchain, QANplatform will have a private and public blockchain as well. In September 2023, the startup launched the QAN Private Blockchain.

  • Besides the investment, MBK Holding offers growth services to facilitate global market access and expansion for QANplatform. With the investment, startup intends to bolster its technological advancements, particularly focusing on enhancing its quantum-resistant security measures.
