Bulgaria’s Software Group secures €9.5M from Invenio Partners

Software Group, a Bulgarian technology company, has secured financing of up to €9.5 million from Invenio Partners and PostScriptum Ventures S.à r.l.. The funding will support Software Group’s continued growth in the financial technology sector.

• Founded in 2009, Software Group is a pioneer in digital banking platforms, serving over 200 clients in 70 countries, including banks, central banks, fintechs, telecoms, government agencies, microfinance, and other non-banking institutions. So far, Software Group has delivered over 500 projects, positively impacting more than 100 million end-customers worldwide.
• For Software Group, the investment is a partnership that will fuel its mission to revolutionize the way financial services operate globally.

• Sofia-based equity investment firm Invenio Partners was established in 2014 by Elvin Guri, Stanislav Nikolaev, Slavcho Parushev, and Tihomir Dyankov. In 2022, it launched a new €55 million regional private equity fund Invenio Partners Fund II to invest in SMEs across Bulgaria, Romania, and Serbia.
• The fresh round was also joined by PostScriptum Ventures, an investment group focused on decarbonization, sustainability, and technology. Established in 2006, PostScriptum and its subsidiaries have been among the global pioneers in the energy transition.

The new investment will fortify Software Group’s position in the market and secure its growth strategy.
