Google announces a new stage of support for Ukrainian startups — $10M in grants

Google is launching the second stage of its support fund for startups in Ukraine. Grants totaling $10 million will be allocated to help Ukrainian startups grow and develop in conditions of the full-scale war.

As in the first stage, the selected Ukrainian startups will be announced gradually during the year and will receive:

  • up to $200,000 in equity-free financing;
  • mentoring support from Google;
  • product support;
  • $300,000 in Google Cloud credits.

Applications will open later this year.

Google created the support fund for Ukrainian startups in March 2022 and it has already provided 58 grants in the amount of $5 million. The list of participants included Skyworker.ai, Mindly, and Zeely. Thanks to this support, startups:

  1. Attracted $15.8 million in additional funding.
  2. Increased income by 100%.
  3. Helped created new jobs.
  4. Received recognition at the global level (for example, Forbes Europe 30 Under 30).

Earlier this year, Google announced the second cohort of 17 startups for its Growth Academy: AI for Cybersecurity program, which was joined by 4 startups from the CEE region, including one from Ukraine — LetsData.
